Meet the Management Team
Mrs. Lara Okunubi – Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Lara Okunubi brings more than two decades of experience in program development, disability advocacy, and capacity building. With an educational background in Business Administration, including a BSc and MBA, as well as certifications in Measuring and Improving Business Performance and Project Management for Non-profit, Lara is recognized for her commitment to empowerment and systems change. Her mantra, “when support improves, outcomes will increase,” underlines her effectiveness as a leader. Lara is also the CEO/Executive Director of Ideal Program Services and Compassion Without Borders founder.
Engr. Tinu Akinyinka-Peña – Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Engr. Tinu Akinyinka-Peña is a highly experienced professional with over 20 years in the fields of engineering, capital programming, development, construction, and project management. Her educational background includes degrees in Civil Engineering, Architecture, and Computer Science. A veteran of the U.S. Military, Tinu holds a master’s degree in Project Management from Boston University. She is dedicated to productive collaborations and is currently a board member on the Palm Beach County Airport and Aviation Commission.
Mr. Taye Doherty – Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Taiye Doherty boasts a successful career in investment banking, portfolio management, and business development. With extensive expertise in corporate finance, investment, and mergers and acquisitions, Taiye has held prominent roles at Merrill Lynch Pierce Fenner & Smith Inc. and Citigroup Global Markets Inc. He is known for his leadership and commitment to delivering high-quality customer service. Taiye holds an MBA in Finance from Saint Mary’s College of California and is a Private Equity Associate (PEA) and Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF).
Mr. Sam Ogobgu – Legal Counsel
Samuel Ogobgu is a seasoned attorney with a wealth of experience in representing consumers, entities, and victims in various legal matters. He is admitted to practice in both Nigerian and U.S. courts, including the United States District Court and the U.S. Court of Appeals 9th Circuit. Sam’s practice areas span personal injury, civil rights, contractual disputes, and real estate transactions. His dedication to justice, regardless of the size or power of the opposition, makes him a formidable legal advocate.
Mr. Saheed Adeleye – Director of Business DevelopmentSaheed Adeleye is a versatile business strategist and operations expert with over a decade of experience across various sectors, including telecommunications, real estate, manufacturing, government, entertainment, hospitality, and NGOs. Saheed is also a strong advocate for African diaspora engagement within their host communities and the African continent. His entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to capacity development are evident in his involvement with NAPAC-CDI.
